Acorn Creek Garden Farm tries to lead the market by having new and unusual products. They have been selling strawberries in August for years. Six years ago, they started selling a premium mesclun salad mix made of about 30 different salad 'greens', all washed, spun and ready to use. This has proven to be very popular with customers.

Marinated dried tomatoes and fresh pesto were added last year. Each year also brings a bounty of new vegetables like butter vine (an edible gourd), romanescue broccoli, purple tomatoes, blue fleshed and German fingerling potatoes, dried beans and shaggy parasol mushrooms in the fall.
New in 2001 are 8 varieties of greenhouse tomatoes and 6 of cucumbers, as well as several new vegetable and flower varieties.
