It's GARLIC FESTIVAL weekend! It’s time for our 2 day festival where we celebrate anything and everything garlic with 110+ LOCAL vendors including a group of handpicked garlic vendors in addition to your favourite LOCAL Carp Market vendors! Open Saturday, August 11th, from 8am to 3pm and Sunday, August 12th, from 10am to 3pm come shop from your favourite Carp Market vendors as well as a group of hand-picked Garlic Festival vendors! Enjoy the summer weather as you shop local and participate in our special garlic-themed events!

Saturday August 11th
• 8:00am – Festival Opens!
• 9:30am – The Best Garlic Contest (Events Tent)
• 10:00am – Garlic Tasting + Garlic Shot Event begins (Events Tent)
• 10:30am – Cooking Demo with Tristan Hertzog – ‘From the Ground Up Culinary’
• 11:30am – Garlic Braiding with Catherine Cheff of Cheff Fields Farm
• 12:00pm – Cooking Demo - ‘Cheshire Cat Pub’
• 1:00pm – Presentation of the Jim Craig Memorial Award for Best Garlic Booth
• 1:15pm – Growing Great Garlic with John Moore of Wolfgrove Garlic
• 2:00pm – Health Benefits of Garlic with Devorah Belinsky from Yellow Moon Farm
• 3:00pm – Festival Closes for the day.
Sunday August 12th
• 10:00am – Festival Opens! Garlic Tasting + Garlic Shots Event begins (Events Tent)
• 10:30am – Garlic Braiding with Catherine Cheff of Cheff Fields Farm
• 11:30am – Growing Great Garlic with John Moore of Wolfgrove Garlic
• 1:00pm – Cooking Demo with Tristan Hertzog - ‘From the Group Up Culinary’
• 2:00pm – Making Hummus with Andira & Emad of Pastel de Feira
• 3:00pm – Festival Closes! See you next Saturday for our regular Carp Market day 8am to 1pm!
The Carp Farmers’ Market is the largest producer based Farmers’ Market in Eastern Ontario! The Market is open every Saturday from May until the end of October from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Entrance and parking are free and the market is wheelchair-accessible.
