Bee Day! Learn all about the wonderful honeybee with a demo on the importance of bees and honey with our vendors Lacelle's Apiary! PLUS, please be aware that MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) will be holding a voluntary toll-fundraiser on Carp Road leading up to the Fairgrounds. Please consider donating to this great cause.

Have you heard about our Annual Garlic Festival? Taking place for two days only in August, come take part in a truly unique local event! Open Saturday, August 12th, from 8am to 3pm and Sunday, August 13th, from 10am to 3pm come shop from your favourite Carp Market vendors as well as a group of hand-picked Garlic Festival vendors! Enjoy the summer weather as you shop local and participate in our special garlic-themed events!

- International food court
- Cooking demos
- Info sessions
- Garlic braiding contest
- Garlic taste testing
- Garlic shots - Test your bravery at our garlic shots table
- FREE parking
- FREE admission
- First 100 customers on both days will get a Carp Market tote bag!
- Wheelchair accessible
- Pet friendly (all dogs must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash)

The Carp Farmers’ Market is the largest producer based Farmers’ Market in Eastern Ontario! The Market is open every Saturday from May until the end of October from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Entrance and parking are free and the market is wheelchair-accessible.

July 29 - Hemp Day + KIDS' CLUB! Join our vendors, the Hemp Cookie Company and learn about the health benefits of hemp. Plus stop by KIDS’ CLUB corner for some fun!

August 5 – Kombucha Day! Learn all about the health benefits of Kombucha with our vendors Artizen Kombucha.

August 12 + 13 – Garlic Festival! Join us for our annual 2-day festival where we celebrate all things garlic! Open Saturday August 12th from 8am to 3pm and Sunday August 13th from 10am to 3pm. Shop from 100+ LOCAL vendors, eat at our international food court and take part in special garlic-themed events. Events include garlic taste testing, garlic shots, garlic braiding and cooking demos! As always, parking and admission are FREE!

August 19 – Corn Day! Come sample the season’s freshest LOCAL corn at our corn roast!

August 26 – Tomato Day + KIDS’ CLUB! Sample tomatoes from our local vendors and take part in our KIDS’ CLUB Doll + Teddy Bear Day! Come make your own flower mobile and get your doll or teddy bear fixed by Dr. Lox and Nurse Marg.

Baked Kohlrabi Fries with Greek Tzatziki


If you’ve been to the market the past couple of weeks, you most likely noticed a peculiar knobby purple or green looking vegetable. This veggie, known as kohlrabi, is super versatile with a taste similar to broccoli stems or cabbage!
