Our 1st Annual Carp Herb Festival is fast approaching! Do you or someone you know make the best pesto? Enter our Carp Herb Festival Pesto Contest taking place Sunday June 26th! Our first ever Pesto Contest is open to all - both customers & vendors! Fabulous prizes will be awarded to the winners so start perfecting that recipe now!

Categories include: Best Traditional and Most Creative. One entry per person per category. No entry fee. Please bring a minimum one 250ml (1/2 pint) of homemade pesto in a clear glass, lidded container. Entries must be brought to the Pesto Contest Table in the "Big Tent" from 10am to 12:30pm - Sunday June 26th, 2016. The Pesto Contest closes at 12:30pm and the winners will be announced at 1:30pm. Also be sure to check out all special events planned for the Herb Festival by visiting our Facebook page or website! Starting at 12pm on Sunday June 26th you can participate in a FREE Yoga Class hosted by Brenna from Inner Revolution Yoga Studio! The Yoga Class will take place on the lawn of the Exhibit Hall. All who participate must bring their own yoga matt. Hope to see you all there! 

Upcoming Events

June 25 - Strawberry Social + Fill the Wagon Food Drive & KIDS’ CLUB. The West Carleton Food Access Centre will be here collecting non-perishable food items as they attempt to fill the hay wagon with donations! Also, sample the season’s freshest strawberries at our Strawberry Social. PLUS – The KIDS’ CLUB will be celebrating Canada Day with games, contests and a paint-your-own birdhouse booth!

***June 26 – 1st Annual Carp Herb Festival*** Join us Sunday June 26th from 10am to 3pm for our 1st annual Herb Festival. Featuring more than 80+ vendors, a tea tasting table, cooking demos, key note speaker – Carol McGrath (Herbalist), FREE Yoga class (starting at 12pm), pesto contest, live music, FREE parking & FREE admission!

July 2 – IT’S OUR 26th BIRTHDAY! Join us for our birthday celebrations (rumour has it there’ll be cake!)
