Garlic Festival Events Schedule

9:30 a.m.The Best Garlic Contest – Visitors can view the garlic entries at the Events Tent.
10:00 a.m.Garlic Tasting Event Begins – Back by popular demand, visitors will be able to taste and rate different varieties of garlic. Located at the events tent, the garlic tasting will continue over the course of the festival.
10:30 a.m.Cooking Demonstration – With Chef Cristian Lepore of Devino Wine Studio on Preston Street.
11:30 a.m.“Black Garlic” – How to smoke garlic and making “black garlic” with speaker Bill Ableson.
12:30 p.m.The Jim Craig Award – presented to the best garlic booth.
1:00 p.m.Cooking Demonstration – With Chef Rob Slack of Slackoni’s in Carleton Place.
2:oo p.m.Cooking with Garlic Scapes – With Donna Davidson of Glengyle Garlic.
3:00 p.m. Festival closes for the day.

11:30 a.m.All Tied Up – Garlic Braiding Demo with Teron James of Wolfgrove Garlic and Battlecreek Farms.
1:00 p.m.Cooking Demonstration – With Chef James Bratsberg of MeNa Restaurant on Preston Street.
3:00 p.m. Festival closes. See you next year or better yet, see you every Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the end of October for the Carp Farmers’ Market!
